The World Outside

This is the photo that won the ‘Pulitzer Prize’ in 1994 during the Sudan famine.

Looks familiar?

The picture depicts a famine stricken child crawling towards a United Nations food camp located a kilometre away (and to think that we have so many types of transport).

The vulture as you can see, is waiting for the child to die so it can eat it (we Malaysian’s never die of hunger, people here die because they eat too much).

This picture shocked the world (no shit!).

No one knows what happened to the child, including the photographer Kevin Carter who left the place as soon as the photograph was taken (he obviously wanted to get away from the vulture).

Three months later Kevin committed suicide due to depression (death caught up to him eventually).

Ok, enough with the stupid jokes. The reason I put up this picture is because it creates so much emotions inside us. We feel sad because of the poor kid and his country. The horror of the vulture waiting to eat the kid (imagine some bird waiting beside for you to die so he can come and peck your flesh off piece by piece). As a matter of fact, you don’t have to die, just get exhausted and lie still and it’ll come running and eat you alive. We also feel self satisfaction because when we compare our lives with theirs, we know we got it good no matter how poor we are. This picture makes my knees weak. It’s just so sad....

So people, the next time you waste your food, natural resources, or whatever shit it is.... think of these people. The least you could do is not waste, or you could help these people out if you have the means. We as a civilized species should help each other out, regardless of any differences we might have. Look around you, the world is too big for you to live alone.

I know it sounds crappy but oh you get what I mean.

Why penguins have short lives? LOL!

He's gonna get his fluffy ass kicked out of him...

Time

The long awaited answer… The long and painful fights… Sometimes you wonder, did you try your best in the things you did? Was it enough doing what you did to preserve the things you love most, the stuff you cherish most, and the times you want planted in your memories forever.

But things fade with time, and time heals all hurt.

All things comes to an end even if you try so hard to prevent it, things break and fall, people come and go, words spoken and forgotten, and time goes on and on. Sometimes… yea sometimes. Sometimes you just hope and pray that time would stand still for a moment, just a moment. Visions clashes, memories faded, and all you could think of is what’s happening at the moment, never wanting to let go.

It hurts… yes it hurts so much at times it makes you cry, but does it matter.

To the world outside you’re just another, one of the many fools that gave in to their hearts and lost everything. How could this happen? Does forever not exist? Do emotions and feelings not last? How stupid could a person be to stay like this? You wonder. People have been wondering for ages. To answer simply, it’s just a simple click in the brain, but it looks more complicated than that. It grows… within one and one only, sometimes shared by two.

It all happens in you… Don’t expect others to sympathize and feel the same as you.

Have you ever wanted something so much it hurts? Well yea, most people do. What if it’s not as simple as wanting, and more towards needing? It carries you within, it gives you strength, it touches you, it puts a smile on your face just by being itself, it makes you feel as if the world is a much better place despite all the crap you’ve been through, and most of all, it completes you.

How often in life do you find something like this?

The hardest part is that it was yours… for a moment. Yea… a moment. To make matters worst, it planted its seed right in the core of your brain, and nothing you do or say is gonna replace that part. But it had to leave your side, it just have to. For reasons you can’t accept, or maybe… won’t accept. It’s so fucking frustrating you’re angry and sad at the same time. Sometimes you feel like slitting your wrist just to numb the pain.

To give a little time just to heal.

But, we do know that this is just a phase in life. It depends how you take it, you can either walk it off laughing to yourself and go on with life, or you can whine over it day and night trying to relive the memories. Things happen yes, but it always happens for a reason. As soon as you realize what the reason is and accept it with an open heart, you’ll feel the weight lifted and ready to go on with life as always. But remember… Never fall for the same trick again, and again. Unless you know, that you know… it’s worth it.

Stop chasing what you can’t have and learn to accept what you can. At the end of the day, you’ll see that it’s all just a simple click in the brain.

“Better by far that you should forget and smile than that you should remember and be sad.”

Don't look at the way things are and ask why; think about the way things could be and ask why not.

Experience, Accept and Understand

There are people in our lives whom we wish we don’t have to let go of because of their personalities, how they are as a person and how they manage to always strike us with their character.

But we have to understand that they were never ours to begin with.

Maybe it should be enough to know that they became a part of our lives and that they have made us believe that there's hope, that there will never be a shortage of good people in the world. It’s enough that they've inspired us, maybe to become better versions of ourselves.

When you're out there looking for that perfect person keep this in mind, people change no matter how hard they try not to. As you grow older you become mature and with each new level of maturity come different ideas, different needs and wants.

The person who was perfect for you when you are 20's could be the person you hate at 30's. You have to find someone who will grow with you, change with you, laugh with you, cry with you.

Remember that there's no such perfect person in this world but there will always be someone who will complete you and love you for whoever you are.

The Bowl in The Room Inside Your Room...

Here’s a shout out to the person who invented the modern toilet bowl! What a bloody wonderful invention, a round thingy for you to sit while you stink. There’s even water inside so when the shit lands it wouldn’t stink as much, it might splash on your butt cheeks though. You can also watch it floating around while you’re bored sitting there with nothing to do. No seriously. What would life be without the toilet bowl?

Imagine you waking up early in the morning and all of a sudden, you feel that something is trying to break free from your ass. Instead of walking 2 meters to the toilet bowl, you have to run all the way to the garden with your pajamas halfway down while shouting curses at everyone who’s in your freaking way!

As you arrive in the garden area, you first have to scout around to see if there’s anyone around or looking your way, including birds and pets. Who knows? They might be laughing silently amongst each other thinking, “How come those bloody humans get so civilized but can’t even have a place for themselves to sit and stink?” And you can’t shit in peace with that running through the tiny little morning brain of yours. Then once you make sure, you have to start digging a hole to suit the amount of shit that you’re gonna let go. Not only do you have to use your strength to dig the hole, your brains have to work full time as well. How much blood do you think you have in your system to support all these at once? And don’t forget, you’re still fresh from slumber.

Are you starting to appreciate ‘the bowl’ now?

While digging, people may walk past that area and some might even be freaking annoying to ask what you’re doing. And at that very moment, you might not have the strength or patience to tell the bastard to f**k off so you just have to concentrate on moving your lips into a smiling position. Not too much, just enough to tell the person that you don’t appreciate his company but don’t wanna be too rude about it. They might be understanding and walk off without a word. Some are too ignorant to get the signal so they just decide to walk by for a peek. At that very moment you oh-so-feel like stranggling their necks dry and just bury them in the hole you just dug.

When there’s finally no one around, and you feel comfortable enough to let go, you take off your pajama pants and squat on top of the hole that you just spent half an hour digging. As you slowly push that little critter out you realized that it was just a false alarm. That thing that tried to creep out of your ass was just…. A fart.

Now you feel ridiculous as you squat there smelling the stuff you ate yesterday, and the only difference is it smells rotten now. Then you realized that you have to act before anyone comes around again. You run around trying to find leaves or dead tree branches to cover up the hole you painfully dug so that no idiot will come and steal it for their own shitting pleasure.Voila, the hole is fully covered as you put a few rocks on top to mark your territory. You feel relieved, and walk home proudly in your pajamas and get a glass of water to drink. As you finish the last drop of water you realize….

The next wave has come, and trust me, this time… it isn’t just a fart.

All I’m saying is, let's take some time to appreciate all the stuff that people has done for us. Regardless of whom they are, and be thankful for what we have.

The Black in All The White

I can never understand why we people always have the need to bring others down, criticize one another, start random fights, rob others off their stuff, kill, blah blah blah..... Maybe it’s just our nature to wanna feel superior to others. I mean, can’t the world just live in peace for just one whole day? On average a person dies every few seconds because of our own stupidity, and that doesn’t include natural disasters, accidents, drugs or whatever shit that kills.

Can’t we just learn to accept one another for who we are? People love to fight, regardless of whatever it is. Fighting for an eraser, fighting just because the other persons nose is bigger, fighting for places to sit and eat, fighting to cut in line when there’s a traffic jam. Speaking of traffic jams, people are monsters on roads.... Just because you can’t see the person doesn’t mean he won’t get angry you idiot. Be patient and wait for your turn, and don’t cut queues. You can speed however fast you want, but make sure there’s no one around, nobody cares if you die, but please don’t kill.

So what can we do to control these human urges to destroy? They say everything starts from the family, that parent’s should teach their children to behave, to love one another. Does it really work? Once the child gets out of the house he’s bound to either bully or get bullied. There’ll be hatred in him, thinking that he’s able to do anything he likes, or that the world is an unfair place to live in. Whatever it is, parents can’t help it. Some parents are too fucked up to even teach their kids. Alcoholics, druggies, or people who made their kids by accident.

What about the community or social groups? Religion. That has been around for centuries, and like Nelly said, it has killed more people than any natural disasters, disease, or gang wars added together. It teaches us to do good, yes, but it’s always easier to fight for principles than to live up to them. People have had religious wars since the beginning of time and it’s still on now. What examples did they set as role models? Leaders shouting for holy war, pedophiles and rapists in churches, lazy people dress up as monks to beg for money.... Sickening.

Government.... All they do is talk talk talk, and built a better country so they can outrun others. Do they even care about the people living within? Oh yea, they do.... When it’s time for the election. I mean, c’mon! The country only looks peaceful on the outside but does it really reflect the inside? Instead of spending money promoting your country with advertisements and shit like that, spend it on the people. When we live in harmony, others will automatically be impressed. We have police all around the world to stop crime, but all they do is stop the small fries, and get bribes from the big guys. Well, most of them.

And lastly, we as the world. There are all kinds of people in this world I know, the patient and good natured ones, the ignorant and selfish ones, the neutral and ‘whatever’ ones. And it’s impossible to live with one another peacefully, but try for one freaking day and you’ll see the difference. Crime rates get lower, accidents at a minimum level, fathers can take care of their families, mothers can sleep in peace and children can have a wonderful childhood. Wouldn’t it be nice to sacrifice our stubbornness for that peace in the world?

I know it’s easier said then done, but what the hell, those are just my thoughts.... I try to be neutral most of the time, but hell, some idiots can really piss you off. Being too kind and polite isn’t gonna help either, but try it first. If the person treats you right, treat him better. If he treats you badly, fuck him up.

I hope when the time comes where the world is in peace, I’ll still be alive. And don’t worry, I’m not a hippie. I just hate stupid people.
